The current views on the classification of the plant world, application of medicinal plants, issues of phytoecology and geobotany, preservation and rational use of plants in Ukraine are presented. The book describes families and some species as for their distribution, diagnostic features, chemical composition and application. The text is accompanied with 5 tables, 335 figures and 1367 author’s photographs. There are control questions, self-control tests, terminological glossary, index of the Latin and English names and the list of the literature used.
