He has published many papers and presented papers at many national and international conferences. He has edited a book on Infectious Control in Healthcare Settings. He is the member of * * Advisory Committee of Vaccination and Immunization Practices (ACVIP) for the year 20Ί7-2019. He is the executive committee member of IAP-ID chapter 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He has been the faculty in many national conferences, and resource person for several IAP modules. His special interest is Kawasaki disease in addition to pediatric infectious diseases. He is the Vice-President of Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), Bengaluru for the year 2018. He is also the President of Indian Medical Association, Bengaluru West branchAshok Rai is a Senior Consultant Pediatrician at Kilkari Institute of Child Health, Apollo Clinic and Surya Super Speciality Hospital, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also the Director of Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy and Handicapped Children, Varanasi. He has edited two books—Smile Baby Book and FAQs in Pediatric Pulmonology. He is presently the Chairperson of Pediatric Infectious Diseases chapter of Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
