Monitoring of the consumption of this group of drugs for systemic use is one of the most important methods used in the system of measures to improve prescribing practices of this group. Aim. To analyze the consumption of antimicrobial agents in the pulmonary department of the multipecialty hospital using the DDD-methodology. Materials and methods. The retrospective descriptive analysis of prescribing pharmacotherapy for patients being treated in the pulmonary department of the Sughd regional clinical hospital (Khujand, Tajikistan) was performed. Using the ATC/DDD-methodology the consumption of antimicrobial agents was studied.
