Лікарські ускладнення — це не тільки серйозна медична та соціальна, але і велика економічна проблема. Побічна дія ліків може спостерігатися як при прийомі монопрепаратів, так і при комплексній терапії. При цьому виявляються не тільки передбачувані, але й непередбачувані побічні ефекти, що виникають внаслідок взаємодії лікарських засобів. Бібліосемантичний аналіз джерел літератури і власних досліджень авторів показав, що офтальмологічні ускладнення при лікуванні системних захворювань проявляються у вигляді звуження поля зору, погіршення якості зору, розвитку тієї чи іншої патології зору. Такі побічні ефекти можуть викликати лікарські препарати, що застосовуються при лікуванні серцево-судинної, шлунково-кишкової, дихальної, травної, нервової та інших систем організму. У такому разі може виникнути катаракта, зміна сприйняття кольору, утруднене читання, двоїння в очах, короткозорість, глаукома, підвищена світлочутливість, тромбоз вен сітківки, сухість очей, утруднення носіння контактних лінз, втрата різкості зору тощо The problem of drug safety is one of the health problems in the world. Drug complications have become not only a serious medical and social, but also a major economic problem. The side effect of drugs can be observed when taking monodrugs and with complex therapy. At the same time, not only the expected side effects are observed, but also unpredictable, resulting from the interaction of drugs. A bibliosemantic analysis of the sources of literature and the authors’ own research have shown that ophthalmological complications in the treatment of systemic diseases manifest in narrowing of the field of view, deterioration in the quality of vision, development of a particular pathology of vision. Such side effects can be caused by the drugs used in the treatment of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory, digestive, nervous and other body systems. A cataract, a change in color perception, difficulty in reading, double vision, myopia, glaucoma, increased photosensitivity, retinal vein thrombosis, dry eyes, difficulty in wearing contact lenses, loss of sharpness, etc. can be observed. The basic problem of treatment of patients with ophthalmological pathology is that much eye diseases have east symptoms. At the same time, many preparations that is intended for a fight against diseases, it is necessary to begin to use already on the stage of minimum displays. Early and successful therapy substantially reduces the danger of transition of disease in a chronic form. However local and system side reactions of different ophthalmology preparations can deliver to the patient more disturbances, than symptoms of disease. The determined basic factors that cause intolerance, indirect actions of most ophthalmologic medication remain unclarified as well as the mechanisms of pathological influence on an eye surface and processes staring under their action. The well-proven influence of age and concomitant pathology change the pharmacokinetics of medications.
