Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second of the most common malignancies in men worldwide, also famous by its heterogeneity, which complicates its diagnosis and prognosis. Changes in methylation of genes’ promoters, expression of cell-cycle related genes, levels of non-coding RNAs can be the signs, that together are able to identify and characterize the malignancy and also help to choose the appropriate adjuvant therapy. Importantly, that markers, which can be detected non-invasively, are favorable for diagnostic and prognostic purposes
