A progress report is devoted to the analysis of approaches to the interpretation of the results of the clinical laboratory examination of the patient, based on the presence of tumor markers. Particular attention is paid to fundamental errors in making a diagnosis on the basis of tests for tumor markers Мета статті – обговорити сучасний стан інформативності пухлинних маркерів і помилки в їх інтерпретації. Представлено аналіз підходів до інтерпретації результатів клініко-лабораторного обстеження пацієнта, заснованих на наявності пухлинних маркерів.
