The survival rate during five years is only about 6.8%. Additionally, a crisis in developing and implementing therapies for GBM builds heavy obstacles for dealing with this type of brain cancer. As a result, there is an urgent need to study the molecular features of GBM and specific genes and/or their regulators involved in the initiation and progression of cancerogenesis.
