It changed the ways of interaction between different groups of the population to the way of contact reduction, which, in turn, may change the psychological state of vulnerable groups. Depression is a common illness worldwide, with an estimated 3.8% of the population affected, including 5.0% among adults and 5.7% among adults older than 60 years (WHO, 2021). But young adults, including students, faced problems like the absence of external contact with groupmates, and friends.
