Анотація: The problem of emotional stability is relevant in all age categories, and especially in the period of choosing further plans for the future. Speaking of applicants who are actually iust ending their teenage years and are immediately faced with the question: “What’s next?”. It is especially difficult for entrants who decide to connect their lives with medicine. After all, there are not so many medical institutions, so most of them have to move somewhere to a bigger city, adapt to the new, which already makes the student think. Also, in the situation of pre-university preparation for admission, it is important not to burn out emotionally, not to fall into a state of depressive tension from the amount of information, its volume, its saturation with new things. In fact, that is why it is important to assess the effects of stress factors on the condition and health of the applicants themselves, in order to determine ways to help and support them along the way. Ат: Hygienic assessment of the impact of stress factors on the health status of applicants to medical higher education institutions (HEIs). Materials and methods: We analyzed and studied the level of influence of stress factors on the health status of applicants to medical universities, evaluated the results for preventive care. To obtain the results, 65 university applicants (50 women, 15 men) of various medical universities were interviewed, the average age was 19±3 years.
