Аннотация: In order to effectively prevent atopic dermatitis (AD) and food allergies (FA) in infants, the aim of study was to evaluate the value of skin barrier improvement interventions and skin care products. Materials and methods: The survey was started from May 2022 till end of September. We decided to examine preliminary data gathered from a survey of 97 respondents. The survey was conducted via Google forms distribution through social media and children’s parents who applied at Kyiv children’s clinical hospital No. 2. The group of interviewees included children aged 1 to 15 years. The average age of the children was 6.5±3.92 years. The survey showed that 98% of children were breastfed, the average duration of which was ± 7.84 months. 17.5 % children had AD manifestation before 18 months of age, 6,2% of children developed the disease after 18 months. 33.0% of the respondents reported that their children had a burdened parental history. Among the children who had manifestations of AD, those who had a clear reaction to the consumption of food products were identified. This subgroup was classified as FA
