The patients wewe devided in two groups: the group I (n=23 female smokers, 44.31 ± 0.27 years), and the group II (n=24 non-smokers, 51.82 ± 0.31 years). Women of the group I had an average smoking history of 16.54 ± 0.29 years, and approximately smoked more than 10 cigarettes per day (in 78.4% of cases women smoked cigarettes with "low" nicotine content). The following parameters were investigated: total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLc), lipoproteins of very low density cholesterol (VLDLc), lipoproteins of high density cholesterol (HDLc), triglycerides (TG), and malonic dyaidehid (MDA) Доп.точки доступа: Bedzay, А.
