Annotation: This edition is the first textbook on Botany in Ukraine written in the English language. It is composed in accordance with the current curriculum considering the requirements of Bologna convention. The textbook provides the basic knowledge of macro - and microscopic analysis of plant objects. It also gives the modern concept of the structure, chemical composition and functions of plant cells, tissues and organs, as well as the ways of plant reproduction. The text is accompanied with 5 tables, 335 figures and 1367 author’s photographs.
