Annotation: The present trend in competitive postgraduate entrance examinations lays stress on an objective rather than subjective evaluation. In view of this the book ’Review of Ophthalmology" has been written with the aim to provide a means of quick revision and self assessment to the medical students preparing for such examinations. Undoubtedly there is no dearth of books on this subject, but the edge of this book has that it is based on the Khurana’s Ophthalmology, a textbook, which is used by most of the students during their graduation course. The book has been organized into two sections of twenty chapters each. Section 1, provides a quick reference to the main aspects of Ophthalmology in an orderly and easily reproducible manner. Though a quick review, the subject in this section has been covered in-depth and extensively including the recent advances. Section 2 includes single best response type of multiple choice questions arranged in twenty chapters matching the text review. While framing the thought provoking MCQs, a particular care has been taken to include all those important MCQs which have repeatedly appeared in various postgraduate medical entrance tests held in the last ten years.
