Аннотация: The monograph is devoted to the development of capsules of the drug Diaplant, methods for their standardization, the study of the stability of capsules Diaplant and the pharmacoeconomic justification of the treatment of acute intestinal infections (ACIIs) using this drug. The rationalization of the choice of the constituent parts of Diaplant capsules is given, their detailed pharmacological characteristics are presented. The monograph describes the epidemiology of ACIIs in the world and in Ukraine, discloses the clinical aspects of the treatment of acute intestinal infections. The marketing research of medicines for the treatment of ACIIs available on the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine was carried out and presented in the monograph, namely: frequency analysis of the presence of medicines on the pharmaceutical market for the treatment of patients with ACIIs; socio-economic accessibility of pharmacotherapy of ACIIs. The composition of the capsules of the drug Diaplant is described, the physical, chemical and technological properties of its main components: nifuroxazide and plantaglucide are studied, the choice of excipients, the technology for their preparation are described in detail
