Аннотация: The manual contains the information on medical deontology, addresses the problems concerning organization of gynecological aid and scientific bases of gynecological department management. It also includes the health protecting law bases of the Ukrainian legislation. A great deal of attention is paid to methods of examination in gynecology, to the aspects of clinical anatomy and physiology of the female genital organs, menstrual disturbances. The book also provides information about clinical, diagnostic and treatment peculiarities of benign and malignant tumors, a thorough description of main types of gynecological surgery, patient’s preparation to elective and emergency surgery, the order of doctors’ staff, working during the operation, the postoperative care of gynecological patients. It also comprises the basics of urinology and the modem methods of contraception and discusses the role of the family planning in promotion of women’s reproductive health
