The literature data of possibility of application of the Laennec placenta in the complex treatment of patients with diseases of the maxillofacial area were analyzed in the article. Its composition, properties, influence on the processes of reparative regeneration of various tissues of the body were considered. Possibility of application of the placental remedies for immunocorrection, neuroprotection, wound healing, normalization of skin pigmentation, nephro- and hepatoprotection, in the treatment of joint diseases, etc. are presented in data of the evidence based medicine. Annotation: Епідеміологічні дані свідчать про високу частоту запальних захворювань ротової порожнини в осіб з атрофічними змінами слизової оболонки шлунка. У патогенезі пародонтиту, викликаного ендотоксином грамнегативної мікрофлори ліпополісахаридом, важливу роль відіграють активація реакцій вільнорадикального окиснення і надмірна продукція оксиду азоту. Тому патогенетично обґрунтованим можна вважати використання при пародонтиті на тлі гастриту препаратів, які були б здатні запобігти оксидативному і нітрооксидативному стресу
Epidemiological investigations provide evidence linking a high incidence of inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity in individuals with atrophic changes in the gastric mucosa. In the pathogenesis of periodontitis induced by gram-negative microflora endotoxin lipopolysaccharide, the activation of free radical oxidation reactions and the excessive production of nitric oxide play an important role. Therefore, the using of drugs that would be able to prevent oxidative and nitrooxidative stress can be considered pathogenetically reasonable in periodontitis on the background of gastritis
