Анотація: In community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), cytokines play a leading role in specific mediators of the immune response. Interleukin-8 is an inflammatory cytokine, a specialized mediator that regulates neutrophil chemotaxis, a product of macrophages and endothelial cells. Disruption of the production, secretion and reception of pro-inflammatory cytokines leads to deep defects in anti-infective protection and exacerbates the direct damaging effects of microorganisms and their toxins on lung tissue. Анотація: According to WHO’s recent study, about 400,000 children and adolescents in between the age group of 0-19 years develop cancer. Some of the common types of childhood cancer are leukemia, cancer of brain and lymphomas. Certain tumors such as Wilms tumor and Neuroblastomas can also be seen. Various carcinogenic factors cause childhood cancer yet, according to studies, usually childhood cancers are not associated with their lifestyle or environmental factors. Childhood cancers are mostly caused due to some serious infections like HPV, AIDS, Hepatitis etc. The survival rate of childhood cancer changes from one country to another depending on its economy. As per WHO reports, the high income countries have about 80% cure rate while economically weak countries have about 30% cure rate. The deaths from childhood cancer in economically weak countries are usually due to lack of diagnosis, misdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis. Also not providing proper care or abandoning treatment leads to death

Анотація: Fetal chromosomal abnormalities are a common cause of reproductive loss, neonatal mortality and infant disability. Triploidy occurs in approximately 1-2% of pregnancies. Most of these pregnancies end in early miscarriage. Lives up to 6-7 months of embryogenesis only 1%. Triplodia is not compatible with life. In the case of live birth, the maximum life expectancy of a child usually does not exceed 7 days. There are three types of triploids: the first type is diandria or hyperandric triploidy (two parental and one maternal set of chromosomes), the second type is diginia or hyperginic triploidy (two maternal and one parental set of chromosomes), and the third type is mosaic triploidy (a combination of normal pairs in the karyotype and sites with three chromosomes instead of two)

Анотація: Allergic diseases have become prevalent in our surroundings, affecting all organs and systems of the body. According to EAACI studies, 17. 3% of the population have food hypersensitivity (FH) in European countries. FH - is a combination of allergic reaction of the body to certain types of food, the mechanisms of development can be immune or non-immune. Gastrointestinal tract takes important place in the pathogenesis of food hypersensitivity. The mechanism of formation of lesions of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract in allergic diseases is the local sensitizing effect of food allergens, that violate the immune barrier of the intestine. FH causes inflammatory changes in the gastroduodenal area, where the duodenum is most affected. Allergic inflammation of the duodenum can include the presence of edema of the mucous membrane, erosion, fibrosis, hemorrhages, vascular enlargement and eosinophilia

Анотація: Acute tonsillopharyngitis is one of the 20 most commonly diagnosed diseases in childhood. According to statistical studies, from 5 to 8% of visits to the pediatrician are due to complaints of sore throat. Up to 30% of tonsillitis is bacterial in nature, and in the vast majority of cases the etiological factor is beta-hemolytic group A streptococcus (BHSA). Much more often the development of acute tonsillitis is caused by a viral infection, primarily adenoviruses, respiratory syncytial viruses, herpesviruses. It is believed that viral forms of acute tonsillitis mainly occur in the autumn-winter period and predominate in children in the first 3 years of life (up to 90%), and at the age of 5 years the frequency of bacterial forms increases (up to 50%). Анотація: За даними численних епідеміологічних досліджень відомо, що поширеність обструктивного апное сну (ОАС) у дітей з ожирінням в залежності від віку та ступеню важкості коливається в межах 33-76%. Однак взаємозалежність антропометричних характеристик у дітей з ОАС недостатньо вивчені. ОАС у дітей визначається при індексу апное/гіпопное (AHI) 3, однак за даними деяких авторів AHI 1 вже вважається патологічним. За даними мета-аналізу 2013 року метод оцінки положення язика за Фрід- маном у дорослих суттєво корелює із прогностичним розвитком ОАС. Однак у дітей такі дослідження не проводились. Анотація: Для кращого розуміння патогенезу будь-якої атопічної реакції організму необхідні дані не лише метаболічного та алергічного обстеження, а й особливості генетичної схильності з мікробіотичним портретом. Атопію розглядають як мультифакторіальну патологію в розвитку якої беруть участь не лише окремі поліморфні локуси, але й взаємозв’язок генних мереж з факторами зовнішнього середовища. Мета роботи Саме тому нами було проаналізовано сучасні дослідження за останні 5 років у популяціях різних країн щодо генетичних асоціацій та епігенетичного впливу на розвиток атопічних хвороб. Коронавірусна хвороба у дітей має свої певні особливості: симптоми переважно легкі та неспецифічні, нежить, кашель, міалгії або втома, лихоманка триває всередньому 3 дні порівняно з 10 днями у дорослих, початок проявів Covid-19 з нудоти, блювоти, діареї та білю в животі в дітей вказує на ймовірність більш тяжкого перебігу хвороби. Мета роботи описати особливості клінічного перебігу Covid-19 у дітей та можливі ускладнення, встановити необхідність ранньої діагностики

Анотація: За даними ВООЗ алергія є однією з найактуальніших проблем ХХІ століття, яка за поширеністю займає четверте місце серед інших захворювань. На сьогоднішній день, майже кожна третя людина у світі має підвищену алергічну чутливість, щонайменше до однієї групи алергенів (Pawankar R, et al, 2013). Згідно прогнозу Європейської академії алергології та клінічної імунології (EAACI 2016) у найближчі десятиліття цей показник буде стрімко зростати і від алергії буде страждати кожна друга людина. Одним із найпоширеніших проявів алергії, який має виражений вплив на якісь життя є алергічний риніт. В Україні його поширеність серед дітей становить 18. 2-32. 2% (Lyudmyla Duda et al. 2019). Ефективним способом лікування алергічного риніту є поєднання базисної терапії із алерген-специфічною імунотерапією (АСІТ) (Cox L et al. 2012). Для прогнозування перебігу алергічного риніту та ефективності АСІТ важливим є визначення домінуючих молекул у молекулярному профілі сенсибілізованих дітей. Ефективним інструментом в цьому плані є багатокомпонентна молекулярна алергодіагностика
