Аннотация: Cephalometric techniques for the analysis of lateral teleroentgenograms, for successful use in orthodontist practice, require a preliminary clinical study, which should include as many healthy individuals as possible from the local population for which this technique will be applied. The purpose of the study is to build and analyze regression models of radio-radiographic parameters used in COGS-methodology in Ukrainian young men with an orthognathic bite with a wide face type. 22 Ukrainian young men with an orthognathic bite and a wide face type underwent a cephalometric study using the COGS method. For the correct modeling of cephalometric characteristics, the division of teleroentgenometric indicators into three groups proposed by M. O. Dmitriev (2016, 2017) was used: the first group is the metric characteristics of the skull, which usually do not change during surgical and orthodontic treatment; the second group - indicators of the maxillofacial system, which can be used to change the width, length, angles and position of the upper and lower jaws with the help of orthognathic surgery; the third group - indicators that actually characterize the position of each individual tooth relative to each other, cranial structures and the profile of the soft tissues of the face. Construction of regression models of cephalometric indicators according to the COGS method was carried out in the "Statistica 6.0" license package. It was established that only 4 reliable regression models of teleroentgenometric indicators with a coefficient of determination greater than 0.6 were built using the COGS method for Ukrainian young men with a wide face, which were included in the second and third groups depending on the indicators of the first group (R?= from 0.626 to 0.780 ), as well as 11 reliable models of indicators were built out of 19 possible, which were included in the third group depending on the indicators of the first and second groups (R2= from 0.626 to 0.970). The analysis of the constructed regression equations showed that most often the models of indicators that were included in the second and third groups, depending on the indicators of the first group, include the value of the distances P-PTV (17.64 %) and N-Se (11.76 %) and the value of the angles H (17.64 %) and N-S-Ba (11.76 %); and to the indicator models that were included in the third group depending on the indicators of the first and second groups - the value of the distances ANS-Me (15.00 %), A-B and N-Pog (7.50 % each) and the value of the angles Ar-Go-Gn, H and N-A -Pog (7.50 % each). Further research will make it possible to develop a computer program that will enable dentists to automatically calculate individual normative teleroentgenometric indicators. Keywords: regression models, teleradiography, cephalometry, COGS-method, facial types, orthognathic bite, young menЦефалометричні методики аналізу бокових телерентгенограм для успішного застосування в практиці ортодонта вимагають виконання попереднього клінічного дослідження, що має включати в себе максимально здорових осіб з місцевої популяції, для якої цю методику буде застосовано. Мета дослідження – побудова та аналіз регресійних моделей телерентгенометричних показників, що використовуються в COGS-методиці в українських юнаків із ортогнатичним прикусом із широким типом обличчя. 22 українським юнакам із ортогнатичним прикусом і широким типом обличчя проведено цефалометричне дослідження за COGS-методом. Для коректного моделювання цефалометричних характеристик використано розподіл телерентгенометричних показників на три групи, запропонований Дмітрієвим М. О. (2016, 2017): перша група – метричні характеристики черепа, які зазвичай не змінюються в процесі хірургічного та ортодонтичного лікування; друга група – показники зубощелепної системи, яким за допомогою ортогнатичної хірургії можливо змінювати ширину, довжину, кути та положення верхньої та нижньої щелеп; третя група – показники, які власне характеризують положення кожного окремого зуба відносно один одного, черепних структур та профілю м’яких тканин обличя. Побудова регресійних моделей цефалометричних показників за COGS-методом проведена в ліцензійному пакеті “Statistica 6.0”. Встановлено, що в українських юнаків із широким обличчям за COGS-методом із 33 можливих побудовано лише 4 достовірних регресійних моделі телерентгенометричних показників з коефіцієнтом детермінації понад 0,6, які увійшли до другої та третьої груп залежно від показників першої групи (R²= від 0,626 до 0,780), а також із 19 можливих побудовано 11 достовірних моделей показників, які увійшли до третьої групи залежно від показників першої та другої груп (R²= від 0,626 до 0,970). Аналіз побудованих регресійних рівнянь показав, що найбільш часто до моделей показників, які увійшли до другої та третьої груп залежно від показників першої групи, входять величина відстаней P-PTV (17,64%) і N-Se (11,76%) та величина кутів H (17,64%) і N-S-Ba (11,76%); а до моделей показників, які увійшли до третьої групи залежно від показників першої та другої груп, – величина відстаней ANS-Me (15,00%), A-B і N-Pog (по 7,50%) та величина кутів Ar-Go-Gn, H і N-A-Pog (по 7,50%). Подальші дослідження дозволять розробити комп’ютерну програму, яка дасть можливість лікарям-стоматологам автоматично вираховувати індивідуальні нормативні телерентгенометричні показники.

Аннотация: Increased attention to the methods of cephalometric analysis by dentists in Ukraine requires a more detailed acquaintance with them to understand both the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. The purpose of the study is to analyze the literature on the possibilities, prospects and problems of using the methods of cephalometric analysis by Burstone, Tweed and Kim in Ukraine. The analysis of the most relevant scientometric databases for the last 10 years has shown that it is impossible to speak unequivocally about the predominance of one method over another. However, according to international researchers, for the effective implementation of a certain cephalometric method of analysis of lateral teleradiograms, it is necessary to conduct a study on the local population, taking into account such features as age, sex, facial features, which has not yet been done in UkraineПідвищена увага до методик цефалометричного аналізу з боку стоматологів в Україні вимагає більш детального ознайомлення з ними для розуміння як переваг, так і недоліків кожної з них. Мета дослідження – провести аналіз літературних джерел щодо можливостей, перспектив та проблем використання методів цефалометричного аналізу за Burstone, Tweed та Kim в Україні. Проведений аналіз найбільш актуальних наукометричних баз даних за період останніх 10 років показав, що неможливо однозначно говорити про переважання одного методу над іншим. Проте, з огляду на дані міжнародних дослідників, для ефективного впровадження певного цефалометричного методу аналізу бокових телерентгенограм, попередньо необхідно проведення дослідження на місцевій популяції осіб, з урахуванням таких їх особливостей як вік, стать, особливості будови обличчя, що досі не виконано в Україні

Аннотация: The study of individual normative cephalometric parameters in individuals of different sexes and ages is important for the "Cephalometrics for orthognathic surgery method", as it allows to accurately diagnose abnormalities and develop personalized treatment plans. This contributes to achieving better aesthetic results, reducing the risk of complications and increasing the effectiveness of surgical interventions. Taking into account age, sex, and face type helps predict long-term changes and adapt the treatment plan to obtain optimal results. In addition, it improves assessment accuracy and standardizes evidence-based approaches, making it easier to compare results between clinics. Thus, individual regulatory parameters are key to successful orthognathic surgery. The purpose of the study is to build and analyze regression models of teleroentgenometric indicators using the "Cephalometrics for orthognathic surgery" method in Ukrainian young women with a wide face type. 25 Ukrainian young women with an orthognathic bite and a wide face type underwent a cephalometric study using the "Cephalometrics for orthognathic surgery" (COGS-method) method. For the correct modeling of cephalometric parameters, their division into three groups was applied (Dmitriev M. O., 2016, 2017): the first group – basic metric characteristics of the skull; the second group – teleroentgenometric indicators by which it is possible to change the parameters of the upper and lower jaws with the help of orthognathic surgery; the third group – indicators that characterize the position of each tooth relative to each other, cranial structures and the profile of the soft tissues of the face. Construction of regression models was carried out in the license package "Statistica 6.0". Only reliable models with a coefficient of determination R2 of at least 0.60 were subject to further analysis. It was found that in young women with a wide face, using the COGS method, 6 models of teleroentgenometric indicators were built out of 33 possible, which were included in the second and third groups depending on the indicators of the first group (R²= from 0.601 to 0.705, p0.01-0.001); out of 19 possible, 16 indicator models were built, which were included in the third group depending on the indicators of the first and second groups (R²Дослідження індивідуальних нормативних цефалометричних параметрів у осіб різної статі і віку є важливим для методу «Cephalometrics for orthognathic surgery», оскільки дозволяє точно діагностувати аномалії та розробляти персоналізовані плани лікування. Це сприяє досягненню кращих естетичних результатів, знижуючи ризик ускладнень і підвищуючи ефективність хірургічних втручань. Врахування вікових, статевих особливостей, типу обличчя допомагає прогнозувати довгострокові зміни та адаптувати план лікування для отримання оптимальних результатів. Крім того, це підвищує точність оцінки і стандартизує науково обґрунтовані підходи, що полегшує порівняння результатів між клініками. Таким чином, індивідуальні нормативні параметри є ключовими для успішної ортогнатичної хірургії. Мета дослідження – побудова та аналіз регресійних моделей телерентгенометричних показників за методикою «Cephalometrics for orthognathic surgery» в українських дівчат із широким типом обличчя. 25 українським дівчатам із ортогнатичним прикусом і широким типом обличчя проведено цефалометричне дослідження за методикою «Cephalometrics for orthognathic surgery» (COGS-метод). Для коректного моделювання цефалометричних параметрів застосовано їх розподіл на три групи (Дмітрієв М. О., 2016, 2017): перша група – базові метричні характеристики черепа; друга група – телерентгенометричні показники за якими за допомогою ортогнатичної хірургії можливо змінювати параметри верхньої та нижньої щелеп; третя група – показники які характеризують положення кожного зуба відносно один одного, черепних структур та профілю м’яких тканин обличя. Побудова регресійних моделей проведена в ліцензійному пакеті «Statistica 6.0». Подальшому аналізу підлягали лише достовірні моделі з коефіцієнтом детермінації R2 не менше 0,60. Встановлено, що у дівчат із широким обличчям за COGS-методом із 33 можливих побудовано 6 моделей телерентгенометричних показників які увійшли до другої та третьої груп в залежності від показників першої групи (R²= від 0,601 до 0,705, p0,01-0,001), а також із 19 можливих побудовано 16 моделей показників, які увійшли до третьої групи в залежності від показників першої та другої груп (R²

Аннотация: The use of cephalometric analysis of lateral teleroentgenograms allows orthodontists, maxillofacial surgeons and other related specialists to organize a patient's treatment plan. However, for the full application of this method, it is necessary to determine in advance which indicators for it can be considered the norm, and which are already a pathology. The purpose of the study is to establish the peculiarities of cephalometric parameters according to the COGS method, related to the profile of the soft tissues of the face, in Ukrainian young men and young women with an orthognathic bite with different facial types. 46 young men and 72 young women who belonged to the residents of Ukraine of the Caucasian race in three generations and had an orthognathic bite were subjected to cephalometry according to the COGS method of indicators related to the profile of the soft tissues of the face. The face type was determined according to Garson's morphological index. Statistical processing of the obtained results was carried out in the license package "Statistica 6.0" using non-parametric estimation methods. Among Ukrainian young women with different types of faces, the following reliable or trends of differences in teleroentgenometric indicators related to the profile of soft tissues of the face according to the COGS method were established: young women with a very wide face have smaller values of the Gl'-Sn-Pog' angle and the Sn-Gn'/H-Gn' ratio (compared to the middle and narrow faces) and the angle Cotg-Sn-Ls and the distance Ls-(Sn-Pog') (compared to the middle face); young women with a wide face have larger values of the Ls-(Sn-Pog') distance and smaller values of the Stms-I distance (compared to the average face type); women with a narrow face have larger values of the Gl'-Sn distance and the Gl'-Sn/Sn-Me' ratio (compared to the medium face), the Sn-Gn'/H-Gn' ratio (compared to the wide face) and smaller values of the distance Sm-(Li-Pog') (compared to the wide face). Among Ukrainian young men with different types of faces, the following reliable or trends of differences in teleroentgenometric indicators related to the profile of soft tissues of the face according to the COGS method were established: representatives with a very wide face have larger values of the Gl'-Pog' distance (compared to an average face ) and smaller values of Sn-Gn'/H-Gn' ratio and Stms-I distance (compared to the average face); representatives with a wide face have larger values of the Sn-Stms/Stmi-Me ratio (compared to the average face) and smaller values of the Gl'-Sn/Sn-Me' ratio (compared to the average face); representatives with a narrow face have larger values of the Gl'-Sn/Sn-Me' ratio (compared to very wide and wide faces). Minor manifestations of sexual dimorphism of cephalometric parameters determined by the COGS method related to the profile of the soft tissues of the face were also established between young men and young women with different facial typesЗастосування цефалометричного аналізу бокових телерентгенограм дозволяє ортодонтам, зубо-щелепним хірургам та іншим суміжним спеціалістам спланувати план лікування пацієнта. Проте, для повноцінного застосування цього методу необхідно попередньо визначити, які показники для нього можуть вважатися нормою, а що вже є патологією. Мета дослідження – в українських юнаків і дівчат із ортогнатичним прикусом із різними типами обличчя встановити особливості цефалометричних параметрів за COGS-методом, що відносяться до профілю м’яких тканин обличя. 46 юнакам і 72 дівчатам, які належали у трьох колінах до мешканців України європеоїдної раси та мали ортогнатичний прикус, проведено цефалометрію за COGS-методом показників, що відносяться до профілю м’яких тканин обличя. Тип обличчя визначено відповідно морфологічного індексу Гарсона. Статистичну обробку отриманих результатів проводили в ліцензійному пакеті “Statistica 6.0” з використанням непараметричних методів оцінки. Між українськими дівчатами з різними типами обличчя встановлені наступні достовірні або тенденції відмінностей телерентгенометричних показників, що відносяться до профілю м’яких тканин обличчя за COGS-методом: у представниць із дуже широким обличчям – менші значення величини кута Gl'-Sn-Pog' і співвідношення Sn-Gn'/H-Gn' (порівняно з середнім і вузьким обличчями) та кута Cotg-Sn-Ls і відстані Ls-(Sn-Pog') (порівняно з середнім обличчям); у представниць із широким обличчям – більші значення величини відстані Ls-(Sn-Pog') та менші значення величини відстані Stms-I (порівняно з середнім типом обличчя); у представниць із вузьким обличчям – більші значення величини відстані Gl'-Sn і співвідношення Gl'-Sn/Sn-Me' (порівняно з середнім обличчям), співвідношення Sn-Gn'/H-Gn' (порівняно з широким обличчям) та менші значення величини відстані Sm-(Li-Pog') (порівняно з широким обличчям). Між українськими юнаками з різними типами обличчя встановлені наступні достовірні або тенденції відмінностей телерентгенометричних показників, що відносяться до профілю м’яких тканин обличчя за COGS-методом: у представників із дуже широким обличчям – більші значення величини відстані Gl'-Pog' (порівняно з середнім обличчям) та менші значення величини співвідношення Sn-Gn'/H-Gn' і відстані Stms-I (порівняно з середнім обличчям); у представників із широким – обличчям більші значення величини співвідношення Sn-Stms/Stmi-Me (порівняно з середнім обличчям) та менші значення величини співвідношення Gl'-Sn/Sn-Me' (порівняно з середнім обличчям); у представників із вузьким обличчям – більші значення величини співвідношення Gl'-Sn/Sn-Me' (порівняно з дуже широким і широким обличчям). Між юнаками та дівчатами з різними типами обличчя також встановлені незначні прояви статевого диморфізму цефалометричних параметрів визначених за COGS-методом, що відносяться до профілю м’яких тканин обличчя
