Анотація: Dee Williams was born and brought up in Rotherhithe in East London where her father was a stevedore in Surrey Docks. As a thild Dee was evacuated during the war, although she kept returning to London because she was so homesick, and in 1940 she witnessed the night of the Blitz. Dee left school at fourteen, met her hjusband at sixteen and was married at twenty. In 1974 she and her husband opened the first of several ladies’ boutiques in Hampshire but eight years later they both moved to Crete and later to Spain, whefe Dee first started writing. She and her husband ncjw live near Portsmouth, close to the rest of |her family. Annie of Albert Mews is Dee’s third novel and she is currently working on her fourth, also set in Rotherhithe
